BEHROUZ – Documentary Premiere

At the end of last year, my Co-Host Cliff and I had the privilege of speaking with journalist and writer Behrouz Boochani about his almost decade imprisonment in the Australian-run Manus Island detention center in Papua New Guinea and the book he wrote about that experience: No Friend But the Mountains.

Days ago, filmmaker Simon V. Kurian debuted the world premiere of his story in the form of a feature documentary, titled BEHROUZ. Screened at the Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch New Zealand, the documentary received a standing ovation from the over 550 people in attendance.

Behrouz continues to speak about the detention and treatment of refugees around the world and we encourage our friends and colleagues to seek out this documentary. You can learn more about it here:
